Northstar Dermatology of Keller, TX Announces Change in Leadership

Keller, Texas – Northstar Dermatology has announced that Amir Aboutalebi, M.D. will be taking the helm of the general dermatology practice effective March 30, 2015. The change comes as the group’s founder Dr. Sina Aboutalebi prepares to relocate to Abilene.

Amir Aboutalebi, M.D. is a Board-Certified Dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He joined Northstar Dermatology earlier this year and has since managed a growing patient base.

“I feel fortunate to be leaving the management of the practice in the capable hands of Dr. Amir Aboutalebi,” says Sina Aboutalebi, M.D. “With his superb clinical and leadership skills, I feel certain Dr. Aboutalebi will continue to serve the patients of Northstar Dermatology with compassion and guide the practice in a successful direction.”

A native of Coppell, Texas, Dr. Aboutalebi graduated summa cum laude from the University of Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He earned the distinction of being a Fulbright Scholar, investigating the ethical and economic implications of nationalized healthcare in Spain. While in Spain, Dr. Aboutalebi devoted many hours as a First Aid volunteer for the Red Cross.

Dr. Aboutalebi graduated medical school with Honors at Baylor College of Medicine and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Afterwards, he went on to complete an internship at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, followed by a residency in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. He has published multiple articles and has presented at numerous regional and national medical conferences.

Dr. Aboutalebi is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatologic Society and Texas Medical Association.
