Dr. Andraia Li is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. She specializes in the prevention, early detection, and treatment of skin cancer, while also caring for a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. Her clinical interests include medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, skin cancer prevention, hair loss, autoimmune skin disease, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Li is committed to delivering personalized care and helping patients feel confident in their skin through compassionate, collaborative treatment.
Dr. Li began her academic journey at Clemson University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), followed by a Transitional Year Internship and a Dermatology Residency at MUSC. While at MUSC, Dr. Li demonstrated outstanding leadership including President of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society’s South Carolina Chapter and serving as a Resident Ambassador for Diversity Affairs while previously holding multiple leadership positions.
A passionate physician-scientist, Dr. Li has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD), Pediatric Dermatology, Targeted Oncology, and Pigment Cell Melanoma Research. Her research spans melanoma, skin cancer prevention, autoimmune skin disease, dermatologic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and evidence-based therapeutic advances. She has also presented her work at national meetings, including the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American Society of Dermatopathology (ASDP), and the Society for Investigative Dermatology (SID). This extensive research experience continues to shape her clinical practice. Dr. Li is committed to evidence-based medicine and continually stays current with the latest dermatologic research, allowing her to thoughtfully evaluate new treatments and offer patients therapies that are both safe, effective, and at the forefront of modern dermatologic care.
Dr. Li’s dedication to academic excellence has been recognized through numerous honors, including induction into the prestigious AOA Honor Medical Society, the Glasgow-Rubin Certificate of Commendation and multiple competitive research scholarships and grants. She remains actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, Medical Dermatology Society, and the Rheumatologic Dermatology Society, reflecting her commitment to advancing dermatologic care through lifelong learning and research.
Above all, Dr. Li values the lasting relationships she builds with her patients. She believes exceptional dermatologic care begins with listening, education, and trust, empowering each patient to make informed decisions about their skin health. Her goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care that helps every patient achieve healthy skin and lasting confidence.
Outside of the office, Dr. Li enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, exploring local coffee shops and restaurants throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and staying active through Pilates and Barry’s. She also has a creative side and enjoys home renovation, interior design, photography, visiting museums, discovering unique finds at estate sales and thrift shops, and taking local crafting classes. Her curiosity and love of lifelong learning extend well beyond medicine, and she enjoys continually exploring new ideas and experiences.
